The Hi-Z 4000 is a dual channel bi-amp design able to drive all Hi-Z™ products through custom Hi-Z cable technology, with everything engineered for ease and simplicity. Along with many other in-built systems, Overblast™ technology ensures the Hi-Z 4000 performs through even the heaviest of rock bands comfortably.

Utilizing the Hi-Z technology - the Hi-Z 4000 is capable of driving 2 x M10 Hi-Z enclosures at distances beyond 20 metres with exceptional velocity-feedback control ('damping') and with complete signal integrity.

Hill Hi-Z 4000 is designed to fit a 2U rack slot, and is internally self-cooled. The high performance, pro-active, fan assisted cooling system keeps the Hi-Z elegantly quiet when the unit is driven gently, yet instantly boosts to full cooling power in proportion to increased drive level.

Hi-Z 4000 amplifiers use a Neutrik powerCON. The Hi-Z 4000 amplifier accepts a +4 dBu balanced input via 3 pin XLR male and female connectors.

Continuous Power

Typically chosen for their price, weight and ease of construction - switch mode power supplies have become standard technology in most amplifiers today, yet they lack power consistency. Hill Pro Audio stick to a simple ethos; no power compromise. An exclusive feature of the Hi-Z 4000 endorses this concept perfectly, by using customised induction technology to ensure consistent power delivery - all the time.

OverBlast

Class A/B amplifiers need intelligent cooling systems to ensure the product never falls short on demand. Overblast™ technology allows an incredibly large injection of air into the product when driven hard. Coupling this with large, beautifully finished extrusions enables the heat chambers to overflow with hot air, and then be extracted immediately.

Hi-Z Systems

The Hill Hi-Z™ system uses a high impedance speaker configuration, together with specifically designed cables and optimised Driver Processing Unit to deliver an extremely high damping factor. This guarantees the output waveform remains true to the drive signal.

Low damping allows unrestrained cone movement, resulting in significant misshaping of the driver output waveform.

Hi-Z 2000

For smaller events with no need for such a powerful amplifier, there is the option to use a Hi-Z 2000. Identical in every way to the Hi-Z 4000 but with half the outputs and amplification potential. Ask your distributor for more information on the HiZ 2000.
